Glassboro Civil War Veterans


Glassboro Civil War veterans gather for the 16th annual picnic on August 20, 1913, forty-eight years after the official end of the Civil War. This photograph was taken on the front porch of Samuel S. Ledden’s Glassboro home. The porch has since been removed but the original house still stands to this day at the corner of Stanger Avenue and Buck Road.
