How Agriculture in the Early 1900's Contributed to the Making of Rowan University

How Repp's Changed My Life

Since I did grow up in Barnegat, NJ, the last thing on my mind is agriculture. I never thought twice about the fact that I am pretty much from a beach town, whereas other areas in New Jersey were or are agriculturally driven.
It was shocking to learn that a farm that was around a hundred years ago entirely changed my life. Rowan University has shaped me so much, and I am only a freshman. There is so much to learn, and none of this would've been possible if people like the Repp's brothers didn't donate land to make the Normal School possible. I genuinely never would've ever thought about the influence of agriculture in NJ on my life, if I wasn't exposed to the geographical significance of Glassboro.
I forever will owe part of myself to both Rowan University and Glassboro, NJ, for making me the human I am today, and the human I will be.
