Hello! I am Michael Mulvihill, and I am a freshman at Rowan University. I am majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science. Also, I am a member of the Bantivoglio Honors Concentration. While not pursuing my studies, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, especially my dog, Brody. I am an avid Philly sports fan, and play and watch sports in my free time.
This project pushed me out of my comfort zone. My brain is very scientific, and I like concrete answers to questions. After all, most of my classes revolve around making a combination of zeros and ones control electronics. As a result, I struggled with inspiration for this project, yet at the same time the diversity and flexibility of this project intrigued me; its open-endedness provided for endless possibilities for research, something I'm not used to. This motivated me, and I soon found something that I felt was underappreciated in the history of Glassboro. The most interesting part of the whole project, however, was that once I believed I knew where I wanted to focus my studies, a new point was brought up or discovered, which brought a whole different perspective to the project.
